Elizabeth Edwards founder of Omaha Ballroom,  has
been trained in Dancing for over 14 years.  Her
background of  dance includes Ballet, Jazz,  Tap,
Pom, Cheer, Ballroom, Latin, Swing and Country style
dancing.

Since 2001 Elizabeth's training focused on American
Style Ballroom in all 10 dances and  is increasing her
knowledge of International Standard, Argentine
Tango, and New York Style Salsa.

In 2006 Elizabeth was chosen to train Omaha's
contestant for the hit NBC's Television show "The
Biggest Loser".  The show consisted of one person
from each state to lose the most weight. Teaching the
contestant high energy Salsa dancing  was more than
helpful for her to complete her  fitness goals. In the
same year Elizabeth was asked to volunteer as a
dance judge for the Highly successful Swinging a
Star" charity event at Club Nico.

At the 2007 Nebraska Invitational Elizabeth Edwards
won "Top Teacher" out of the Nebraska teachers as
well as her student winning "Top Student".  In Spring
of 2007 at The St. Petersburg Classic in Florida  
Elizabeth assisted a couple to win "Top Amateur
Couple"

Right now Elizabeth is training with Dance Partner
Jake Fisher, owner of Blue Martini Entertainment
Dance Studio in Overland Park, Kansas. Jake and
Elizabeth are training to compete Pro in August of
2008.

With Elizabeth's high energy she strives to create an
environment  where students can learn to dance easily
as well as perfect their dancing to look amazing.
