Three methods of learning how to partner dance
Private Lessons
Our professional instructors focus on you. We incorporate on the basic elements to get you
dancing quickly and in a style YOU chose. NO heavy sales pitches, no pressure to purchase
big dance lesson packages, we focus on the dancing. Private lessons are the fastest way to
learn how to dance. To get started give us a call and we will find a time that fits your
schedule at our new location
Group Classes
Group Classes are in 6 week and 4 week sessions. All you have to do is register on this
website at least one week before the beginning date. Most group classes are 45 minutes
long and consist of 6-20 people. We demonstrate each move and then have the students try
the moves together. Once everyone feels comfortable with the moves we try it with music
and then switch partners. Group classes are a great way receive lot of repetition.
Dance Socials/Practice Parties
Every Friday Omaha Ballroom offers a chance for our students and the community to dance
in an atmosphere where it is comfortable, classy, and always has new music every week to
dance to almost every style of dance! Our instructors are here to help! No experience
necessary and no partner needed.
Do I need a partner to start?
No! In fact, you will often learn faster with one of our professional instructors.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
Make sure you bring or wear dress shoes. Dance shoes are recommended but not required.
For your first lesson wear any kind of shoes with a leather sole and that has support around
the ankle. Try not wear sandals or tennis shoes.
WE SELL DANCE SHOES, please ask you instructor for more information!
I am getting Married how soon should I schedule my first dance lesson?
The sooner the better. We require that all wedding couples schedule their first dance lesson
two months before their wedding date. This way you will feel comfortable and enjoy your
